Center for Excellence in Metalworking Technology (NCEMT) operated by
Concurrent Technologies Corporation for the U.S. Navy Manufacturing
Technology Program (ManTech) is seeking qualified parties interested in
producing aluminum bronze (C954) centrifugally-cast components that are
enriched with titanium carbide (TiC) particles. Producers of TiC/bronze
ingots and/or aluminum ingots enriched with TiC particles, TiC powder
suppliers, centrifugal casting foundries, and machine shops capable of
processing these materials are being sought. The goal of this NCEMT
project is to develop a process for consistently producing high
quality, high wear components to be used in a marine environment.
Parties interested in participating in the program are asked to send a
