Lutz (609) 562-2093 (Site Code DAKF29) Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to inspect, service, and provide emergency repair services of fire protection systems, and supply and servicing of fire extinguishers at Fort Hamilton, Brooklyn, NY, and Fort Dix, New Jersey, for the period 1 October 1996, or date of award, if subsequent thereto, through 30 September 1997. Supplies and services are to be furnished on an as- needed basis, with no guaranteed minimum work. Bidders will be required to submit proof of the following: (1) Proof that the bidder is regularly engaged in the installation, repair, maintenance, and inspection of fire sprinkler, standpipe, dry chemical, wet chemical, carbon dioxide, and halon systems of the type and complexity of the systems and equipment listed in the workload data in the solicitation, as well as servicing, maintenance and hydrostatic testing of all listed types of fire extinguishers; (2) Proof that at least one person on the contractor's staff holds at least a level 3 Fire Sprinkler Certification from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) or is a Fire Protection Engineer; (3) Proof that contractor personnel working on residential fire suppression systems are certified factory trained technicians by Pem All Fire Extinguisher Corporation.
