The U.S. Department of Agriculture intends to lease one self-propelled forage harvester. The term of the contract is October 1, 1996 through September 30, 1997 with one additional option period. This synoposis for commercial items is prepared in accordance 12.6. A copy of solicitation should be by WRITTEN REQUEST ONLY. The solicitation no. 31-3K47-96, is issued as request for proposal and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-38. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 7353, with a small business standard of 3.5 million for the preceeding 3 years. This acquisition will be procured under a small business set-aside. Delivery is required October 1, 1996. Delivery is F.O.B Destination to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Beltsville, Maryland.
