Remove existing concrete and asphalt paving, base, curbs, and wheelstops. Remove existing underground drainage and sidewalks as indicated on Drawins. Site lights must remain in operation under temporary or permanent power throughout the period of construction. Provide new site lights and rewire all existing site lights. Complete new paving including earthwork, stabilization, storm drainage, steel reinforcing, concrete paving, concrete curbs, concrete walkways, concrete ramps, striping and signage. Remove and replace all existing chain link fencing and gates. Finish grade and solid sod site. Phase repaving to allow continuous operation of the Postal facility at the Delbert Atkinson Station, Pasadena, Texas, in accordance with the plans and specifications. Estimated cost range $410,000-$460,000 and construction time is 120 calendar days. Successful offeror must submit their Subcontracting Plan for Small and Minority-Owned, and Woman-Owned Business initially and thereafter with their progress payment requests. The contractor must subcontract with minority business firms in an amount aggregating not less than 10% of the total value of its subcontracts. A 20% proposal bond is required on all proposals. The successful contractor will be required to provide 100% Performance and 50% Payment Bonds within forty-eight (48) hours after notification of award.
