Z -- FIRM FIXED PRICE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR LOBBY MODERNIZATION & BUILDING EXPANSION AT ANNANDALE MPO 4270 JOHN MARR DRIVE ANNANDALE VA 22003-9998 Solicitation #102490-96-A-0014. Due 082296. The contract resulting from this solicitation will include Selective demolition, asbestos abatement, new construction including masonry, carpentry, cabinetry, sheet rock, painting, aluminum store front, roofing, landscaping & paving. The project is to be performed in a building occupied by the US Postal Service and being operated as a customer service facility. The construction work must be phased to permit continued operation of the facility and protection of employees and the public. The contractor will be required to limit construction activities that conflict with Postal operations during peak mail distribution periods such as the Christmas season (November 1 through December 25). Time to complete is 300 calendar days after date of Notice to Proceed. Offers are due by 2:00 PM on August 22, 1996. Plans and specifications will be available on or about August 2, 1996 at $70.00 per set, non-refundable, referencing Solicitation #102490-96-A-0014. Please do not send cash.
