Project magnitude is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The performance period will consist of a 90-day mobilization period, followed by a 180-day construction period. The solicitation will issue on or about 23 August 96, with bid opening projected to occur on 23 September 96. A nonrefundable fee of $55.00, payable to the United States Department of the Treasury, is required for each solicitation requested. This fee is intended to reimburse appropriated fund reproduction expenses associated with issuance of the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis; thus, all responsible firms are encouraged to furnish their Federal Express, DHL, or Airborne Express account numbers with their requests to expedite delivery. This solicitation is a straddle bid to be funded with FY 96 funds, if available, or with FY 97 funds. A bid acceptance period through 30 Nov 96 is required. (215)
