Z -- REPAIR OF BRIDGE SOL 23-6218-96 DUE 091696. POC Contact Point, Roger F. Garza, Contracting Officer, 409/260-9448. This project consists of the repair of the bridge. Work includes: a) constructing wingwalls upstream and downstream of the bridge; b) installing cutoff walls 1-2 feet upstream and downstream of the existing base slab and filling the area between the cutoff walls and the base slab with concrete; c) filling the void areas at the exit under the base slab with concrete; d) diverting the entry of the local drainage away from the abutment areas; e) providing a protective concrete cover to the eroded area at the juncture of the north wall and the base slab; f) clearing the trees and brush to 70-80 feet upstream of the bridge and removing several large concrete blocks in the channel bed upstream and 100 feet downstream of the bridge. All work to be performed at the USDA facilities in El Reno, Oklahoma. IFB to be issued o/a 8/16/96.
