COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT -- PROCUREMENT, INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF A PRIVATE BRANCH EXCHANGE (PBX) AT FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION (FBI) ACADEMY AND ENGINEERING RESEARCH FACILITY, QUANTICO, VIRGINIA -- Contract may be renewed at the option of the Government in one year periods for the life of the system. Installed capacity of no less than 5,000 wired lines and 400 wired trunks with expansion capability to 10,000 lines and 800 trunks. In addition to the PBX system, Telecommunications Management System, Station Message Detail Recording System, Battery Reserve Power System, and normally required ancillary equipment (such as cabling, hardware, etc.) with extensive underground feeder cable requirements in accordance with requirements and specifications as set forth in Request for Proposal Number 6829. Proposal due date is November 22, 1996. Request for a solicitation package must be in writing and postmarked no later than fifteen (15) calendar days from the date of this notice.
