This procurement was originally publicized as a sole source procurement; however, it will be advertised and awarded using full and open competition. UNICOR Federal Prison Industries is soliciting for a five-year requirements contract for fiberglass panels for use in systems furniture. The finished system furniture sections will have to be approved by Underwriters Laboratory because the sections contain electrical wiring. The successful offeror will be required to maintain a designated amount of inventory of the items to be acquired. Estimated usage during the contract period is 2,295,325 pieces. Contract prices will be adjusted periodically during the contract period in accordance with the Economic Price Adjustment clause. Deliveries shall be made FOB Destination to UNICOR, William Penn Rd., Lewisburg, PA. Deliveries are required to be made within 30 days after receipt of delivery order.
