EMS is an ietm development and run-time system for intrusive diagnostics and prognostics for vehicles and aircraft, which interfaces to the Army unit level logistics system (ulls) and the prototype failure analysis and maintenance planning system (famps) that has been developed by saic and has fielded applications for force xxi advanced warfighting exercises and other TACOM and US Army maintenance concepts. EMS is hosted on the Army'S current unit-level portable maintenance computer, the contact test set-III, also developed and produced by saic.
