R -- NOTICE OF DRAFT SOLICITATION RELEASE SOL USZA22-96-0052 DUE 081696 POC Ms. Fran Aberle, Contract Specialist (813) 840-5462; Major Roberta Burke, Contracting Officer (813) 840-5483 The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Special Operations Acquisition Center, Procurement Directorate plans to issue a draft solicitation on 16 August 1996 for the next USSOCOM System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) services contract. The draft solicitation will be distributed electronically via our Electronic Bulletin Board (EBB). The government plans to issue the final solicitation on 11 October 1996, with a projected award date in May 1997. USSOCOM requires SETA for the Special Operations Acquisition Center (SOAC), the Joint Staff Offices and Component Commands. The primary area of support wiill be for the SOAC in managing various programs during all phases of the acquisition cycle. Support required for USSOCOM includes a broad range of technical services including Program/Project Support; Engineering and Systems Analysis; Integrated Logistics Support; Financial Mangement; Configuration Management; Studies, Evaluations and Assessments; Test and Evaluatiion; Operational Analysis, Intelligence and Informantion Warfare; Trainng and Education; Management Information Systems; Security Program support; and documentation preparation and review. The government contemplates making two awards, one award under the full and open category and one Small Business award.
