Herting, 202/326-4160 The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) is soliciting accounting and/or auditing services firms to provide professional accounting services to the PBGC for premium income and account receivable determinations, pension plan account analysis, collections program support, analysis and resolution of suspended premium filings, identification and analysis of data quality issues, and review of internal controls. This contract requires substantial knowledge of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), as amended, 29 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), professional accounting and auditing standards as promulgated by the FASB, and applicable GAO, and OMB circulars, regulations and requirements as they apply to the PBGC. This contract is expected to be awarded for a base year with three, one year options for renewal. Requests for copies of the solicitation must be in writing and must reference RFP No. 96-0022.
