Z -- REPLACE HVAC IN THIRTEEN BUILDINGS, 8000 AREA, FORT RILEY, KS SOL DAKF19-96-B-0049 DUE 092396 POC Contract Specialist JULIE A BOWELL (913) 239-0461 (Site Code DAKF19) The project consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation and performing all required work in accordance with the plans and specifications for replacing HVAC in thirteen buildings, 8000 Area, Fort Riley, Kansas, which includes the removal of lay-in suspended ceiling; removal of concrete block in pipe chases; furnishing and installation of new suspended lay-in ceiling; installation of concrete block chases; removal of existing pipe; furnishing and installation of new pipe and valves to fan coil units; removal of existing fan coil units; furnishing and installation of new fan coil units including temperature controls; removal of 2 x 4 troffers and surface-mounted light fixtures; furnishing and installation of new light fixtures; and provision of power to new fan coil units. Proposed contract will be a firm fixed price contract. Sealed Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 23 Aug 96 and bid opening will be held on or about 23 Sep 96. Estimated costs of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This proposed procurement is subject to availability of funds. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 1711. The Small Business size standard for this project is $7.0M annual receipts.
