all labor, supervision, supplies and materials to perform all work
required for site improvements around Building 1 of the United States
Department of Labor's Mine Safety and Health Administration in the
Dallas Pike Industrial Park, Industrial Park Boulevard, Triadelphia,
West Virginia. The proposed site improvements include removal of about
10,000 square yards of existing 5-inch thick bituminous paving/stone
and the disposal of same off of Government property in concert with all
applicable environmental standards and the furnishing and installing of
about 8,500 lineal feet of 4-inch french perimeter drains, of about six
storm sewer inlets and 600 lineal feet of 15-inch N-12 plastic storm
pipe, and of about 10,000 square yards of new bituminous paving -
3-inch thick base course and 3-inch thick wearing course with a stone
subbase. Estimate cost range of contract is between $200,000 and
$400,000. Bid and performance bonds will be required. Firms responding
should indicate whether your concern is large or small business, a
socially and economically disadvantaged business or a woman-owned
business. Written requests for bid package must reach this office
within 15 days after date of this publication. The solicitation is
anticipated to be available on or about August 14, 1996, with a closing
