Z -- WATER SUPPLY CORRECTIONS, PHASE 2 SOL 678-48-96 DUE 092696 POC Pam Hayes, 520-629-4611 The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, facilities and supervision to install a new domestic water booster station with associated above ground piping and valving, installation of new 8 inch and 12 inch underground distribution piping with appurtenances, new back flow prevention device, and one channel crossing of the Tucson diversion channel, installation of underground electrical power and control wiring, installation of new pump motor controllers, installation of new controller probes in an existing water tower, installation of a new canopy with lighting over the booster system, and installation of a chain-link fence enclosure around the exposed equipment and piping. Significant branches of work include earthwork, concrete, structural steel and steel decking, water system piping, electrical raceways, electrical cables (low voltage), and electrical control equipment. Contract performance time will be 120 calendar days. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC Code)is 1711. Cost range is $250,000 to $500,000.
