US Army CECOM, Acquisition Center, proposes to issue a sole source acquisition to Honeywell Inc., Defense Avionics Systems Division, Albuquerque, NM for a quantity of 62 each, Compass Control C-8021E/ASN, P/O UH-60A, NSN: 5821-01-316-2739 with a 100% option provision and the acquisition of a Competitive Technical Data Package and because this acquisition is confined to the cntractor's part number referred to and must be compatiable in form, fit and function of the existing equipment. The Government physically does not have in its possession sufficient, accurate or legible data to purchase this part from other than the current source. Delivery will be to New Cumberland, PA and Stockton, CA. The U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established an Electronics Bulletin Board (EBB) to provide electronic transmittal of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations for Bids (IFBs) from Government to industry. Only those parties who do not have the equipment necessary to access the EBB will be forwarded hard copies upon request. All interested parties wishing to do business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive data from the CECOM EBB Syste. To become a user of the EBB you will need an identification code and password in addition to a computer terminal equipped with the necessary hardware and software to interface with the EBB System. Detailed information regarding system requirements is contained in the U.S. Army CECOM EBB User's Manual. A user's manual, identification code and password will be issued upon request.
