The Information Management Department (IMD) at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division has a requirement to support and modernize the Test and Evaluation Community Network (TECNET) Project and is subprojects. The objective of this requirement is to obtain a redundant application transparent failover system for the main TECNET system and the Defense Investigation Services linkage system (DISLINK). The goal is if either system goes down the other system will take over processing of the other. This effort will consist of purchasing the following equipment: Guardware 2 Server Software SOLLMD SS1000, P/N C212AACICS, 1 EA, Guardware 2 Server Software SOL SPT/YR SS1000, P/N C212AAC61S, 1 EA, 10 Ft SCSI cable with 68 Pin High Density connector, P/N 1548E010, 2 EA, Interface Kit for SparcServers configured with Sun's 1052A adapter, P/N C7510G-S20, 2 EA, Application Transparent Failover Software and Docs, P/N C222AZN1CZ, 2 EA, SparcServer 1000E unpopulated System Board, P/N X1200A, 2 EA, S-Bus Fast SCSI-2 Buffered Ethernet Card, P/N X1053A, 2 EA, 3COM Linkbuilder Unmanaged Hub, P/N 3C16180, 1 EA, and INSTALLATION/INTEGRATION/TRAINING SUPPORT, 1 LO. INSTALLATION/INTEGRATION SUPPORT shall include three, eight hour days, utilizing a Monday through Friday work schedule, to discuss and plan installation/integration, six eight hour days (Wednesday through Monday) to install above equipment and three eight hour days, utilizing Monday through Friday work schedule, to discuss post installation/integration issues and to provide an orderly transition of the system from the contractor to the Government. The contractor shall also be required to provide 8 hours of training for two government employees. Delivery is required 30 days after receipt of order to Receiving Officer, Naval Air Station, Bldg 665, Patuxent River, MD 20670.
