The USDA, Food and Consumer Service is seeking Small Business Sources with the capability to provide yields of various food products used in Child Nutrition Programs. The information obtained will then be used to update the ''Food Buying Guide for Child Nutrition Programs.'' The yield determinations must be exact (accurate) and obtained by proven scientific methods, so that the information is repeatable time after time. If you are a small business and are interested in submitting your capabilities for consideration, you must furnish examples of previously completed work of a similar nature, along with references, and you must demonstrate an understanding of the types of equipment used in average food production kitchens today. This is not a request for proposals.
