Clark (310) 725-7563 The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for the installation of two each 175 KW Engine Generators, exhaust piping system and starting batteries, E/G control panel, transfer switch, Load Bank control panel, 175 KW Avtron resistive Load Bank, actuated damper, estg., hood and all new openings located at the Los Angeles International Airport in Los Angeles, California. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, transportation and materials required to successfully complete this project. Work shall consist of, but is not limited to the demolition of a 100 KW diesel engine generator, E/G control cabinet and transfer switch, Load Bank Control Panel, 100 KW resistive load bank and disconnect switch, E/G remote radiator, motor and disc, switch, exhaust fan motor, damper and hood. All work shall be in strict accordance with FAA plans and specifications. The period of performance is established for forth-five (45 calendar days). The period of performance is mandatory and shall be performed within this time frame. The FAA shall supply copies of the aforementioned solicitation to the first Ten (10) written requests responding to this announcement. Solicitations shall be issued on a ''first come'' basis only. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) for this procurement is 3621 and includes the estimated project amount is between $50,000 and $100,000.
