This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.This amendment revises the previous specification for the required inverters to read as follows.Electrical requirements - Input voltage 2VDC-32VDC, 28VDC nominal; Output voltage - single phase, 115V minimum - 120V maximum, 1000 Watts minimum, Output frequency = 60 Hz, true sinusoidal waveform, regulated; operates on vehicle battery. Output voltage is PIN Selectable. Mechanical - humidity to 95% non-condensing; operating temperature -20C to 40C; DC connection 1/4-20 studs; AC connection standard 3 prong AC socket.Protection circuitry - input overvoltage protection, input undervoltage protection, thermal protection, short circuit protection, output current limited. This amendment extends the time and date for receipt of offers in response to this combined synopsis/solicitation to 4 PM EDT 19 August 1996.
