LeJeune, Contracts Specialist, (301) 342-1825, ext. 117. The Naval Air
Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD has a requirement
for 12 (twelve) Reflective Memory VME Boards. The boards must satisfy
the following: - Must comply with VMEBus specification ANSI/EEE STD
1014-1987, IEC 821 and 297 in 6U form factor. Must support a minimum of
512 Kbytes of reflective memory. Data written to reflective memory
automatically sent to location on all reflective memory boards on
network. Must support a minimum of A32:A24:D32:D16:D08 VME memory
accesses. The VME board must update the memory of the receiving
node/board on th fiber optic interface as its own memory without
further involvement of the sending or receiving node. No processor
Overhead. the VME board must not require a processor for network
protocol handling. The VME board must not require a processor for
managment of the fiber optic interface. No host processor intervention
or software driver requirement. Support point-to-point simplex
operation with single fiber communications between transmitting unit
and the receiving unit. Allow/support the use of VME master/control
processor boards in both the transmitting and receiving reflective
memory node chassis. The VME board must take one only one 6U form
factor slot in a VME chassis. The reflective VME board must be capable
of supporting data transfers with nodes separated by up to 1000 feet.
The VME board must support a sustained data rate of up to 3 Mbytes/sec
for point-to-point data transfers on the fiber optic interface. The VME
board must be capable of generating an interrupt on the receiving node
when data is written to a user defined location. The VME board must
have built in data error checking with the capability to generate a VME
interrupt if an error is detected by the receiving node. This
procurement is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns.
Delivery requirement is within 60 days after contract award. All
responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which
