Center (DASC) has a requirement forremedial and preventive maintenance
of Government owned microcomputers (PCS) and peripheral equipment
located at Ft. Belvoir, VA and all other dlasupported activities in the
Washington metropolitan area. Primary location for work will be at the
DLA HQ complex, 8725 John J. Kingman Road, Ft. Belvoir, VA.
22060-6220. DLA intends to award a fixed-price purchase order for an
estimated period of Twelve months. This is a request for interested
small businesses to respond. Award will be made under simplified
acquisition procedures and will be restricted to small businesses.
Remedial and preventive maintenance may be required on the following
equipment: Printers, scanners, microcomputers, monitors,
andlaptops/notebooks, etc. From the following manufacturers: Texas
instruments, Hewlett Packard, Xerox, IBM, dataproducts, Unisys, ALPS,
seiko instruments, citoh, QMS, Fujitsu, okidata, Kyocera, Macintosh,
Apple, scantron, centronics, microtek, Zenith, GTSI, AST, gateway, asl,
mitek, alr, dgi, everex, Magnavox, Philips, nokia, intra, ctx, dtd,
hyundai, Sigma, mitsubishi, amdek, dauphine, contura, grid, compaq,
toshiba, NEC, and HP sheet feeders, and dauphine power paks. The
foregoing list is intended to be representative of the equipment
required but is not allinclusive. Ninety (90) percent of repairs per
month must be completed on-site (except for monitors and
laptops/notebooks). Items repairedoff-site must be returned fully
operational within seven (7) calendar days for monitors and
laptops/notebooks and within three (3) working days for all other
items. Parts and labor shall be guaranteed for a minimum ofninety (90)
days. The contractor shall provide a toll-free number and required
maintenance services Monday through Friday between the hours of 08:00
AM and 04:00 PM (excluding Government holidays). Maintenance Personnel
shall arrive at the Government facility to effect repairs within 24
hours of notification for routine service and within 3 hours for
emergency service as determined at the discretion of the Cor/acor.
Acomplete statement of work will be provided under simplified
acquisition procedures to small businesses responding to this
announcement. NO telephone inquiries/responses will be accepted. This
notice is not arequest for competitive proposals. NO Solicitation
document exists and NO award is intended on the basis of any response
