M -- INSTALL FIBERGLASS CABIN AHELLS ON 41' UTILITY BOATS SOL DTCG85-96-B-L36J53 DUE 082796 POC Janyce DeCanto, Contracting Officer (510) 437-3773. The contractor shall provide all labor and materials necessary for each Station to Install Government Furnished Fiberglass Cabin Shells on the following boats ; 41' UTB # 41365 STATION CHANNEL ISLAND 93-B-L36J52 and 41' UTB's # 41331 & # 41373 STATION LA/LB 96-B-L36J53. The work will be the same for all boats. Work for the resultant contract shall be performed at the contractor's facility. The contractor shall be responsible for : (1) Renewal and disposal of existing cabin shells, (2) Removal and restoration of all interferences and obstructions affected by work, and protection of all equipment and furnishings in the area, (3) Tag out all electrical and electronic equipment, remove all electrical cable and wiring, and reinstall upon completion, (4) Install government furnihed Bomar Hatch and rear sliding window, (5) Water spray test of all through penetration (6) 41' Utility Boat operational limitations is 150 nautical miles, not to exceed 8 hours or one days'travel, (7) The haul out point is within the boats operational limitations to and fro the Contractor's facility by using a air trailer system. 41' Utility Boats are assigned to Station Los Angeles/Long Beach in San Pedro and be avilable for inspection on August 19 - 29, 1996. POC is CWO Rotter (310) 980-4463. The Availability schedule for #41365 is 16 September and concluding 01 October 1996 and includes transporting the boat. The Availability schedule for #41331 is 16 September and concluding 01 October 1996, #41373 to start 01 October 1996 and conclude 16 October 1996.
