POC for copy, JC Norris, (619)553-4331 The Naval Command Control and Ocean Surveillance Center RDT&E Division (NCCOSC RDT&E Division) intends to procure communication systems engineering and integration support services to the Joint Tactical Information Distribution System (JTIDS) and Multifunction Information Distribution System (MIDS) programs. Support requirements entail assessment of system operations and vulnerability in a threat environment and developing innovative concepts directed towards improving communication systems via architectural design and functional partitioning of systems onboard Navy aircraft and other platforms. The requirement is for a one (1) year base period and four (4) option periods of one (1) year each. It is estimated that 43,680 hours will be expended in the base period and 43,680 hours will be expended for each option year thereafter. An indefinite delivery type of contract with cost plus fixed fee pricing arrangements is anticipated. It is anticipated that the contractor will perform off-site from NRaD in the contractor Facility/Field Office or occasionally elsewhere as defined in each individual Delivery Order. The contractor's facility and personnel must possess SECRET clearances. Additionally the contractor must be capable of securing a NATO Clearance.
