This project is for the construction of a flood water retarding
structure at site no. 18, Red deer creek watershed. Earth filled Dam
with soil-cement on the up stream slope, earthen emergency spillway,
and pre cast concrete principal spillway conduit and appurtenances.
Major items of work: 105,000 Cu yds of excavation, 141,000 cu yds off
compacted earth fill, 55.3 cu yds of concrete, 220 ft of 24 inch
concrete pressure pipe, 3,567 cu yds of soil-cement, 1,465 cu yds of
graded drain fill, 71 tons of rock rip rap for the plunge basin and
4,300 feet of fence. The work is approximately 9.5 miles southwest of
Canadian, Hemphill county, Texas.Estimated Price range is between
$500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00 Site is Scheduled to be held on a date to
