The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy seeks sources capable of supplying all labor, supervision, materials, tools and equipment necessary to re-roof the Yocum Sailing Center. The contractor shall be required to attach existing steel standing seam roof panels to purlins, fill-in spaces between existing standing seams with 3'' polystyrene insulation, add 1-1/2'' layer of isocyanurate insulation board to top of polystyrene and apply a fully adhered .060 EPDM roofing system. In addition, the contractor shall be responsible for installing new copper gutters and leaders, as well as flashing. Solicitation packages will be ready approximately 26 August 1996. The tentative date for the site inspection is 12 September 1996. The estimated range is between $100,000 and $250,000. All requests for the solicitation must be made in writing. No telephone requests shall be accepted. The applicable standard industrial classification is 1761. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
