Z -- RENOVATION OF WARDS 7A AND 7B, MODIFICATION SOL IFB542-20-96 DUE 091696 POC Harry Pearson, Contracting Officer, (610) 383-0202 The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to complete the renovation of wards 7A and 7B. This will include the demolition of architectural, mechanical and plumbing systems, asbestos abatement, the installation of an interior stairwell, installation of new semiprivate bathrooms w/ showers and all associated plumbing, installation of new female bathrooms, installation of a new heating system, installation of new HVAC system, installation and/or replacement of electrical systems, installation of private and semiprivate bedrooms, installation of new architectural fixtures, and the installation and/or replacement of building plumbing systems. The Contractor will be responsible for the repair of all exterior and interior surfaces damaged due to demolition and/or construction connected with this project. The solicitation packages should be available on or about 8/16/96, and this solicitation is offered under full and open competition. The cost range for this project is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. All requests for solicitation packages must be in writing and addressed to the above referenced POC. THE AWARD OF THIS PROPOSED CONTRACT IS SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FY 96 FUNDS. The following SIC Codes apply to this proposed acquisition; 1711, 1721, 1731, 1741, 1742, 1751, 1752 and 1793, and the applicable small business size standard is $7 million average annual gross revenue for the last three (3) fiscal years. A limited number of solicitations will be available to prime contractors on a first come first serve basis. Only one solicitation package will be sent to each firm.
