Z -- MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR AVIATION BRIGADE BARRACKS COMPLEX FACILITIES AT FORT CAMPBELL, KENTUCKY SOL DACA27-96-B-0061 DUE 092496 POC Contract Specialist Diane C Hood (502) 582-7459 (Site Code DACA27) The required services consists of providing scheduled preventative maintenance, routine repair and maintenance and emergency repairs services for barracks, operations, dining, and administrative facilities occupied and/or assigned to the Aviation Brigade. These are recently constructed facilities that include two barracks buildings, five company operations buildings, one dining facility, eight battalion headquarters buildings, and one brigade headquarters building. Facility systems and components to be maintained and repaired include heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) generation and distribution systems, controls, and components; electrical and lighting systems; roofing systems; cafeteria and kitchen refrigeration and cooking equipment; fire alarm, public address, and communications systems; plumbing systems; and sewerage systems. Work will also include minor repairs as needed to the buildings structure and materials to include patching walls, painting, floor and ceiling tile replacement, etc. The maintenance and repair service provider will assure the services are available 24 hours per day and seven days per week to facilitate timely completion of emergency repairs that may become necessary. This contract will NOT include janitorial, custodial, cleaning or grounds maintenance services except as they relate to the above. The contract period for the contract is one year from the date of award with options to extend the contract period for two additional one year periods.
