The principle features of work for project NKAK 95-1025A/B includes, but are not limited to: (a) Addition of approximately 3,000 square feet; (b) Installation of double sloped roof with wood deck and shingles; (c) Removal of existing siding and windows and installation of new brick and windows; (d) Replacement of existing HVAC system; (e) Replacement of all carpet, lighting, water piping, restrooms, electrical systems, wall coverings, ceiling, etc.; and (f) Installation of sprinkler, fire reporting and EMCS systems. This is a firm fixed price contract. The estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The performance period will be 270 days. This procurement is being issued on an unrestricted basis with small disadvantaged business evaluation preference. This office proposes to issue IFB F03602-96-B0016 on or about 15 Aug 96.
