Specialist, (202) 307-4366. The original synopsis is modified to make
this a synopsis/Solicitation for Commericial items, prepared in
accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented in
accordance with additional information included in this notice. This
announcement constitutes the only solicitation; bids are being
requested and a written Solicitation will not be issued. The Drug
Enforcement Administration (DEA) is seeking three (3) remanufactured
engines for a B300C Beechcraft King Air turboprop engines (model
PT6A-60A). Each engine shall be equipped with the following: Fuel
pressure switch (part number 100-389018-23), starter generator (part
number 23085-001), propeller Governor (part number 91-38003-3), and an
overspeed governor (part number 101-3890293). The Government does not
have and will not consider a trade for any existing (Government)
engines for these engines. Engines shall be delivered to the COTR, at
the Drug Enforcement Administration, 2300 Horizon Drive, Fort Worth,
Texas 73166-5300 within thirty (30) days of contract award. The
Contractor shall be responsible for crating and packing each engine,
and coordinating delivery to the Government via Government Bill of
Lading. Engines must be fully operational at time of installation.
Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal
acquisition circular 90-39. Provision at FAR 52.212-1 instructions to
offerors-comercial items applies to this solicitation. The clause at
FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial items applies to this acquisition.
Evaluation of all offers will be made to determine the responsive and
responsible offeror which satisfies all mandatory requirements at the
lowest overal price. Offerors are to include a completed copy of the
provisions at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and
Certifications-Commercial items with their offer. The clause at FAR
52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications-Commereical Items
with their offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and
Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The clause at
FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement
statutes or executive orders - commercial items applies to this
acquisition. Offers are due by 2:00PM local time September 3, 1996.
