(202) 433-5387. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk,
Detachment Washington has a requirement to purchase an Autoclave for
the Naval Aviation Depot Jacksonville. This equipment is intended for
the Aerospace Industry to provide for the bonding of graphite,
fiberglass, composite, plastic and metal honeycomb and component parts.
The system will consist of the following: (1) Autoclave which shall be
8'6 DIA x 16'length (working space). The autoclave will have a
nitrogen pressurization system operating from 0 to 200 PSI and
temperature range ambient to 600 F. Installation, Training, and a one
year warranty. Trade in of the existing autoclave (Baron model
BAC-8.516, serial #A08813) in Norfolk VA will be included in the RFP as
an option. The autoclave will not be available for removal until June
1997. A pre-proposal conference/site visit is planned for NADEP
Jacksonville. Further,a trade-in site visit is planned for NADEP
Norfolk VA. Both site visits are tentatively scheduled for September
1996. This requirement is unrestricted. Award will be to the lowest,
technically acceptable, responsible offeror on an all or none basis.
