Colbert (502) 798-7566 (Site Code DAKF23) Proposed sole source award to: Air Logistics Corporation, 3600 E. Foothill Boulevard, Pasadena, CA 91109 for six (6) each 200/250 GPM Fueling Modules, Part Number 118463. The modules have the following characteristics: Fuel pumps are air-cooled, JP-8 or Diesel Operated Engine. Module shall consist of a single unit consisting of engine, filter separator and pump assembly. All components mounted in an aluminum frame with lifting eyes to allow sling lifting by helicopter. Filter separator capable of removing contaminants down to 1 1/2 micron. Module shall be capable of loading on one (1) Air Force 463L pallet or, overland on one (1) Heavy Expandable Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT). Module shall be capable of refueling four (4) helicopters simultaneously. Module shall be capable of pumping filtered fuel at 200 Gallons per Minute (GPM); or, bulk, unfiltered fuel at 250 GPM. Module shall utilize a ''four point'' system compatible with Forward Area Refueling Equipment (FARE) or HEMTT Aviation Refuel System (HTAR). Weight of Module shall not exceed four hundred (400) pounds, with provisions for four (4) man lift. Fuel source for module may be six hundred (600) gallon pod, five hundred (500) gallon collapsible drum, or can be hooked to HEMTT Truck. Three copies of Operators and Maintenance manuals for each pump shall be furnished. Spare parts with price list shall also be furnished. Delivery to be made to Fort Campbell, Kentucky within one hundred eighty (180) calendar days after award. This proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. Firms that recognize and can produce the required items described above are encouraged to identify themselves to the contracting officer, and provide supporting evidence to the contracting officer which will permit their participation in a competitive solicitation.
