70 -- SUPPORT SERVICES OF THE REALTIME INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (RIMS) SOL N63394-96-R-2108 DUE 082596 POC Contract Specialist, JANICE CAVE, (805)982-0427 Due to technical difficulties during transmission of the original synopsis, this synopsis is re-publicized in its entirety as follows: The Government intends to modify Contract N00244-95-C-0286 with Andrulis Research Corporation on a sole source basis to investigate and correct the Comptroller's financial system, Realtime Integrated Management System (RIMS), to achieve Year 2000 compliance. The contractor shall modify hardware and software to provide fault free performance in the processing of date and date related data, including, but not limited to calculating, comparing and sequencing all data, when dates are in the 20th and 21st centuries. The contractor shall provide one contractor personnel on-site at the command to augment Year 2000 compliant efforts and production support. The effort represents 5,640 labor hours for Year 2000 compliance efforts and 1,820 labor hours for one on-site employee. Period of performance to be during Option Year One, for a period of twelve months, beginning 1 October 1996. As the current contractor for RIMS support, Andrulis Research Corporation has developed the appropriate level of expertise to successfully perform this effort as a consequence of their experience in providing contractual services consisting of RIMS program and technical management, quality assurance/control, configuration and data management, advanced planning, operational maintenance, and emergency services.
