DesJarlais, 757/441-6647 The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) intends to purchase the services necessary for the monitoring of research and development projects funded under provisions of the Fishing Industry Grant (FIG) program. This acquisition will be made utilizing the simplified acquisition method and is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The desired qualifications include an understanding of the fishing industry, knowledge of marine biology, the Northeast fisheries, and grant administrative procedures. The period of performance will be September 1, 1996 through August 31, 1997. Request for Quotation (RFQ) number EASC-96-0298 will be issued on or about August 12, 1996. Quotations will be due on or about August 23, 1996 and award will be made on or about August 28, 1996. All responsible small businesses may submit a quotation that will be considered by the agency.
