Place (202) 433-3672 The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment Washington, Washington, DC has a requirement to procure services for the production of Leave and Earning Statements in Hiedelburg, Germany. This requirement calls for receiving computer source data via communication line in remote job entry format, performing ''hard copy'' paper production,storing source data for reprints, and delivering approximately 28,750 printed original document Leave and Earning Statements (LES)to the Military Postal Service Agency, on a biweekly basis. The intelligent production laser printer must be capable of speeds from 120-135 pages per minute. A production time of 18 hours or less is required from receipt of data file to delivery to postal service. The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) considers the production of leave and earning statements to be mission critical and extremely time sensitive. The offeror must be located within a one hour distance from the Army/DFAS payroll office in Hiedelburg, Germany and must also retain an office in the Continental United States for the purposes of interacting with the Defense Printing Service Detachment Office for coordination and management oversite. This will be a Firm Fixed Price contract which will be awarded for a base year and four one-year options with up to an additional six month period in accordance with FAR Clause 52.217-8.
