Ward, (801) 524-5248, Contracting Officer The project is located approximately 30 miles south of Farmington, New Mexico, in San Juan County. The work consists of constructing approximately 3 miles of overhead 230-kV electrical transmission line on wood pole structures, approximately 2 miles of overhead 13.8-kV electrical distribution line on wood pole structures, 0.26 miles of overhead 230-kV transmission line on wood pole structures for the Gallegos Tapline, and an electrical substation. All work associated with the Gallegos Tapline shall be completely functional prior to June 1, 1997. All other work shall be completed prior to May 1, 1998. A prebid site tour will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., August 27, 1996, beginning at the Farmington Construction Office. No notification is required. Participants will be required to furnish their own four-wheel-drive transportation. BID OPENING DATE AND TIME: October 18, 1996, 10:00 A.M. Estimated project range is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000.
