Perform construction and simplified design work to accomplish maintenance, repair, and minor construction work at Hill AFB and associated sites. Construction projects will be ordered from the contractor by individual delivery orders issued on an as-needed basis. The contract resulting from this solicitation will provide a basic one-year contract period with four one-year prepriced option periods. Two contracts will be awarded, one for full and open competition and one to be set-aside for 8(a) businesses. It is anticipated complex projects will be complete between the two contract for award and non-complex projects will be awarded on a rotating basis. Pricing will be based on the R.S. Means Cost Estimating Software packages which are to be supplied and updated by the contractor. Estimated Range: More than $10,000,000 Performance Period: 365 days The approximate issue/response date will be 21 Nov 96. No telephone requests.
