Z -- RENOVATE EYSTER AQUATIC CENTER, BUILDING 6940, FORT RILEY, KS SOL DAKF19-96-B-0052 DUE 092796 POC Contract Specialist JULIE A BOWELL (913) 239-0461 (Site Code DAKF19) The project consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation and performing all required work in accordance with the plans and specifications for renovating Eyster Aquatic Center which includes demolition of heating and ventilating equipment for the pool area, the chlorine equipment, showers, upper walls between the pool and locker rooms, and other miscellaneous demolition; installation of new dehumidification and conditioning equipment for the pool area; installing a grate and curb on the make-up water vault; replacing exterior doors and windows; various interior and exterior repair/replacement of appurtenances and finish materials; replacement/repair of shower and latrine area lavatories, trim, drains, etc; enclose and air condition office area; repair roof and improve drainage around building; and replace chlorinator equipment. Proposed contract will be a firm fixed price contract. Sealed Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 28 Aug 96 and bid opening will be held on or about 27 Sep 96. Estimated cost of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This proposed procurement is subject to availability of funds. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 1542. The Small Business size standard for this project is $17.0M annual receipts.
