This contract requires cutting and scattering roadside vegetative growth for approximately 37.8 miles of roadway. This includes furnishing labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to complete the contract. The roads to be treated are located in Shoal Cove on Revillgigedo Island in Southeast Alaska. Shoal Cove is accessible by boat, floatplane or helicopter. Transporting vehicles, equipment, and personnel to this island requires advance planning and scheduling due to tides, weather, and availability of equipment. The contract is to be completed by December 15, 1996. This project is 100% Small Business set-aside. Simplified Acquisition Procedures apply to this project.
