59 -- AWACS WIDE BAND KLYSTRON POWER AMPLIFIER SOL N00164-96-R-0149 POC Contact point, Roger Brett Code 1163WH, 812-854-5269, fax 812-854-1841 Contracting Officer Richard Colvin This procurement will be a sole source procurement to General Research Corporation International (GRCI) for Phase 2B of the AWACS Wide Band Klystron Power Amplifier Program. See Note 22 and 26. Phase 2B consist primarily of the manufacture and testing of three Klystron Wide Band Power Amplifier tubes. One tube shall be used to conduct Experiment D in accordance with Phase 1 of the program. The two remaining klystrons shall be flightworthy tubes meeting the requirements of ATP L5865-500-PT-1100. Required delivery of the tubes shall be 11 months after contract award. Acceptance will be at source. Delivery will be FOB destination to Tinker Air Force Base.
