The Air Force Development Test Center (AFDTC) is contemplating negotiating and awarding a sole source procurement under the provisions of Federal Acquisitions Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, to Peek Traffic Transit Corporation, 3000 Commonwealth Blvd., Tallahassee, FL. 32303-3157, phone (904)-562-2253, for one Smartways Upgrade Package. Peek Transit System is the only known source that has an upgrade physically and technically compatible with the Peek Transit System currently installed on Eglin AFB, Florida. The upgrade package consists of Computer Model #P5-133 with a 17-20 inch monitor, maximum .28 DP, 16Mb EDO Memory, 1GB hard Drive, 4x CD ROM, Model 3000 8 phase controllers, closed loop interface panels, Model# 3000 master with interface panel, SSR100 Radios, Master antenna with coax and mounting hardware, Local antenna with coax and mounting hardware, Modified CW for closed loop operation, Loop amps with cables and surge protection, on-site training and familiarization on the system software for up to 5 government personnel, mounting the existing 8 phase unit, installation of new wiring to existing heads, cutting and installing a total of 30 loops, provide conduit between all loops with junction boxes, install master and local antennae, add closed loop panels, setup central site master, data collection, provide timing and graphic Smartways system, install controllers, install computer and radios, and adjust/fine tune timings.
