Each of the peptides shall be greater than or equal to 95% pure and shall be manufactured, purified, bottled, tested, and delivered according to strict Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards in a facility that is currently fully certified by the FDA. The facility shall provide independent production suites that allow for purity and security of concurrent projects. A copy of the FDA certification and any pertinent evaluation documents shall be provided by the Contractor as a part of their offer. Each of the peptides (500 mg each) shall be lyophillized without caking agents, and bottled in 50 microgram/vial aliquots, using sterile, air-tight, rubber- stoppered, freezer-approved vials. The U.S. Army shall retain its patent rights under the provisional patent filed on 26 Jan 96 and under all other forthcoming, formal patent applications. Delivery of the first four (4) peptides specified herein, along with required manufacturing documents (i.e., drug master file), shall occur within 30 calendar days of contract award. The remaining six (6) peptides, along with required manufacturing documents, shall occur within sixty (60) calendar days of contract award.
