Administration, Vehicle Research and Test Center requires two sets of
instrumentation for prototype advanced anthropomorphic test dummy legs.
The instrumentation consists of two six-channel femur load cells, two
upper four channel tibia load cells, two lower four-channel tibia load
cells and two leg tubes. The load cells for the prototype legs were
designed and developed by Robert A. Denton, Inc. No design
specifications currently exist. The Government intends to negotiate a
firm-fixed-price contract to R. A. Denton, Inc. for the additional
instrumentation required. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) nor
is a RFP available. Interested parties believing they are capable of
providing this requirement must respond to this notice in writing
within fifteen (15) days after its appearance in the CBD. Interested
parties must demonstrate proven capability to manufacture the parts
described. In the absence of responses within the specified time,
negotiations on a sole source basis will commence with R. A. Denton,
