The intended used of the system is for providing a comprehensive management database of all flying operations within the Air National Guard. The initial information can be provided in the the format of a technical data sheet, technical bulletin, or performance data sheet and should include names, model numbers, and operating specifications. The initial information should include pricing and availability data to be utilized for the purpose of evaluation of the possible acquisition of articles/services. The system should contain the following requirements: User friendly system designed for ease of use, high accuracy of data, quality and reliability, training and complete system support. The system should cover areas such as flight planning, scheduling, training management, maintenance, event tracking and other applications that are required or useful in running a flying operation. The intent is to be able to run the systems from standard desktop computers and Pentium 133mhz notebook computers using Windows 3.1, Windows 95 and Windows NT operating systems. Vendors who are interested are also invited to demonstrate applicable software on 30 Aug 96 at Patuxent River Naval Air Facility, Maryland.
