The United States Penitentiary, Marion, Illinois, is soliciting for optometry services for federal prisoners. Services consist of optometric evaluations including ocular pressure testing and visual field testing, treatment recommendations and written prescriptions for visual refraction correction. The contractor must be licensed to practice optometry in the state of Illinois. Board certification is required. Services will be provided at the United States Penitentiary, located at Marion, Illinois. Services will be required for a one year base period, with four one-year option periods for a total of sixty months from the date of award. The estimated quantity for each 12 month period of the contract is 24 four-hour sessions per year. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a bid which will be considered for award.
