Hueneme, CA, plans to issue a cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF), indefinite quantity, indefinite delivery, solicitation for integrated logistics support (ILS) and technical support for the Surface Combatants/AEGIS Program, which includes the AEGIS Combat System (ACS), AEGIS Weapon System (AWS), and related systems. The contractor will provide integrated logistics support services and related program management support, liaison with ACS/AWS activities responsible for ACS/AWS equipment, expertise in logistic support documentation, and participate in technical meetings. Examples of specific requirements are (1) maintain, update, print, and distribute technical manuals, (2) update ILS availability planning report generator data base, (3) provide process, equipment, and software analysis support for the Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) and Electronic Technical Manual (ETM) development and conversion projects, (4) review and comment on ACS/AWS alterations (ECP's, ORDALT's, etc.) and (5) other related processes. The anticipated award date is 1 Mar 97. The period of performance is expected to be one (1) base period (estimated to be seven months), plus four (4) one year option periods.
