The New Jersey National Guard proposes to award a contract to Replace Hangar Doors phase I, II and II at the New Jersey Air National Guard Base, Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. This solicitation provides for multiple line items and additive bids, of which must be addressed in order to be considered for this solicitation. Interested contractors should notify this office in writing of their intention to bid the project as a Prime Contractor with their request for bid package. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and materials required to perform the work in strict accordance with the contract documents. The estimated cost range is between $500,000 to $1,000,000. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will be awarded as a result of this solicitation. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification number is 1542. All request for solicitation package must include solicitation number, point of contact, telephone number and facsimile number. Bidders must also identify their status as small disadvantaged business (SDB), emerging small business (ESB), section 8(a) small business act contractors, small business, or large business. Woman-owned, small and small disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to compete. Solicitation packages will be available on 6 September 1996. Closing time for receipt of packages is 2:00 p.m. 8 October 1996. The bid opening will be held in the United States Property and Fiscal Office conference room located at 131 Eggert Crossing Road, Lawrenceville, New Jersey 08648. There will be a pre-bid meeting at 10:00 a.m. 18 September 1996. The location of the pre-bid meeting will be in the Base Civil Engineer conference room, New Jersey Air National Guard Base, building number 402, 400 Langley Road, Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. A non refundable charge of $50.00 per bid set is required. Requests for bid documents must be in writing accompanied by a check made payable to the U.S. Treasury. Facsimile and telephone requests will not be accepted. The bid number should be identified in all correspondence.
