The project entails installation of new roofing on existing built-up roofing at three warehouses, Bldg Nos. 403, 505 and 506. Each warehouse is approximately 200ft x 600ft (61m x 182.9m) in size. The roofing consists of polyurethane foam covered with a sprayed on silicon membrane. The project will also involve removal of some asbestos contained felt materials and lead contained paints. The project requires a contractor with a specialized experienced and manufacturer certification for application of this product. Therefore, this project is unrestricted to maximize competition among the qualified contractors. The cost range for this project is $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00.
