Y -- CONSTRUCTION OF FLOATING DOCKING SLIP ASSEMBLIES SOL FR-186819 DUE 092596 POC Contracting Officer, Janet H. Keith, 423/632-4825 The Tennessee Valley Authority will be issuing a solicitation for fifteen floating docking slip assemblies each consisting of one 6' x 12' rectangular floatingplatform and a gangway 10' in length. The platform and gangway shall be of welded steel construction with treated wood decking. Post fabrication dip galvanizing will be required for both components. Each component will come complete with pin type hinges for connecting as an assembly and to a stationary land connection. Installation either by crane and/or barge may be required. Installation may be delayed until after Watts Bar Resevoir reaches its winter drawdown level. Requests for copies of solicitations should be faxed to (423) 751-8462.
