Defense Logistics Agency/Defense National Stockpile Center is acquiring roofing, siding and water proofing repair services for the Warren Depot, Warren, Ohio. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code for this project is 1541. This is a 100% small business set-aside. Contractor shall replace the existing composition built-up roofing on 70 riser houses with a new modified bituminous roofing system; paint the existing riser house doors; and on 51 riser houses install new steel siding. On warehouse 1, Contractor shall remove the existing wood ventilators and sheet metal window covers and install new aluminum wall ventilators and new insulated sandwich panels to replace the sheet metal covers. Three window areas shall be completely removed and filled in with new Concrete Masonry Units (CMU). The CMU walls shall be waterproofed, and all entryways shall be painted. The 70 risers house roofs total approximately 3,198 square feet and the walls of warehouse 1 total approximately 32,750 gross square feet of paintable surfaces. Performance of this renovation and repair project requires working with hazardous lead waste generated as a result of removing the existing wall ventilators, window covers, and other trim. (222)
